TVer is distributed through a streaming video service called brigthcove.
Normally, downloading TVer videos is somewhat complicated.

Complicated ways to download TVer videos on the Internet

TVer is displayed as it is in the URL format like https://tver.jp/corner/f00XXXXX, where the X is a unique number.
This URL format does not allow for downloading, so we need to prepare the download URL.
Obtaining the URL of a TVer video
First, you need to get the URL of the TVer video in Brightcove URL format.

Brightcove URLs take this style. You will need to get the two bold numbers in order to download.

Note: Fuji Television's FOD videos are not in Brightcove format and cannot be downloaded using this method.
1. Use the Developer Tools (Verification)
Select "Other Tools" → "Developer Tools" from the four ... (vertical) menu in the upper right corner of your browser. Alternatively, right-click on an empty space on the homepage and click on "Verification" at the bottom of the menu that appears. You can also use Ctrl + Shift + I.
If you select "Verify" for Google Chrome or "Investigate with Developer Tools" for Microsoft Edge, the source screen of the page will appear as shown below.
Press Ctrl+F to display the search window.

2. get account ID and video ID from the URL
Find the account ID and video ID of the video you wish to download from the source code.
- Search for account ID → data-account
- video ID → search by data-video-id
Extract the two numbers in the following table. Both will be 14-character numbers.
Now you have two 14-digit IDs. Copy and paste them into a notepad or something similar.
3. create a URL for downloading
To review again, you will need to prepare the following video format.
http://players.brightcove.net/(14-digit account ID)/default_default/index.html?videoId= (14-digit video ID)
If you insert the ID you obtained, the URL will be as follows.
http://players.brightcove.net/4494098882001/default_default/index.html?videoId=6201654602001
This is the URL you have created to download the video.
If you paste this URL into the downloader, you can download it.
